Large tabular crystals of the rare Amphibole Fluoro-Richterite are richly set in the calcite matrix on this dramatic large specimen from this well-known roadcut locality. Many of the crystals are sharply terminated, including the largest, 4.25cm in length 2.75cm wide. A large 3cm wide crystal sits at a 45 degree angle on the back this crystal. A second doubly terminated crystal is 3cm long. As an added bonus the pink calcite has strong LW UV fluorescence. From the the Essonville road cut Wilberforce Ontario.
