A cluster of shinny green Diopside crystals with Phlogopite Mica. The dark brown Mica is peppered about the the Diopside to give a nice contrasting colour. The largest Diopside is 5cm in length. The Diopside has been etched from the white marble it would have formed in. Over all good condition with a point of attachment at the base of the cluster (see images). From the prolific mineral producing area of Koksha Valley, Khash & Kuran Wa Munjan Districts, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. Dimensions are 7x5x3.1 cm.
