Some of the most distinctive quartz specimens found in Alpine deposits of Europe and Pakistan are the attractive "faden" crystal groups. These specimens show the classic "faden" (German word for string) form that is well known from this locality. This is a set of 3 delicate gemmy faden crystals. Each piece features a flat tabular form with varying amounts of induvial attached crystals. The images show the 180 degree rotation of each piece in sequence.
