Pearly pink twisted rhombs (squares) of Dolomite on Limestone. Associated with the Dolomite are a few pale yellow dog tooth Calcite crystals. The Dolomite crystals also have some micro crystals of Marcasite perched on them. The piece is sawn on the bottom so it sits nicely for display. From the Thorold Quarry in southern Ontario. As an added the bonus the Dolomite has nice pink fluorescence and the Calcite bright yellow under long wave UV light. Dimensions are 11x9.5x7cm- a good sized cabinet piece.
