This is a cool piece, nice native Silver on a metasedimentary matrix. A classic example of the Silver deposits in Cobalt were small cracks and fissures in host rock became filled with Silver. A nice veneer of Silver coats one side of the rock. The back side of the specimen is saw cut. From the Kerr Lake Mine, Coleman Township Timiskaming District near Cobalt, Ontario.
