This is a nice example high grade Silver ore with a Calcite vein set in Diabase rock. The bright white Silver is seen protruding throughout the grey Calcite vein and Diabase. Associated with the Silver is Cobalt Arsenide in the Calcite. A rich piece from the lesser known locality the Millerett Mine Haultain Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada. This mine had very rich veins but production only lasted from 1909 until 1912 as the ore ran out. Specimens are not frequently seen on the market. Dimensions 12x8x5cm 344 grams.
