Pink Smithsonite rhombs in rounded aggregates cover the display face. Galena is also present on the matrix. . The back side has an old collector identification number on it. The piece comes with an older collectors label which is most likely over 50 years old. It states the locality being in South West Africa. South West Africa was re-named Namibia in a 1968 UN resolution. The overall condition is very good with some edge wear. A nice historic example from the Berg Aukas Mine, Grootfontein Constituency, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia. This is large cabinet specimen with dimensions of 15x10x7cm weighs 785 grams.
