Superb rich arborescent Silver in Calcite 2 Pieces, Millerett Mine, Ontario 9cm CO176
This is an excellent specimen of high grade herringbone and arborescent pattern Silver in Calcite. The bright white Silver herringbones and arborescent patterns are coated in the shiny grey Cobalt arsenide. The is a vein section cut in half featuring two cut faces. Plenty of Silver poking out from the uncut sides as well. From the lesser known locality the Millerett Mine Haultain Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada. This mine had very rich veins but production only lasted from 1909 until 1912 as the ore ran out. Specimens are not frequently seen on the market. Dimensions 8.5x4x1.75cm (max thickness) 134 grams and 9x5x1.75 (max thickness) 155 grams.
