Lustrous cobalt blue Celestine crystals on micro sized scalenohedral (dog tooth) Calcite. The largest Celestine crystal is just 2 cm long and has excellent transparency. The second crystal is 1.75cm long. Please check the video for the 3D nature of the specimen. Overall condition of the specimen is good. The smaller crystal has some contacted areas. The piece sits up nicely for display. A very aesthetic example from the new locality the Laman Celestine deposit, Qala e Naw District, Badghis, Afghanistan. Dimensions 5x3x2cm 28 grams.
