Lustrous cobalt blue Celestine crystals on Calcite. The largest Celestine crystal is just under 2.5 cm wide and has excellent transparency. An unusual feature is the Celestine crystals are zoned from Clear to blue giving a unique bi-colour effect. Please check the video for the 3D nature of the specimen. Overall condition of the specimen is excellent with some edge wear. The piece sits up nicely for display. A very aesthetic example from the new locality the Laman Celestine deposit, Qala e Naw District, Badghis, Afghanistan. Dimensions 5x4x3cm 37 grams.
