High Grade Dendritic-Herringbone Silver Ore Siscoe Mine, Nicol Township, Gowganda Ontario, 19cm CO163
A superb example of high grade Silver ore. This saw end cut section features a vein of Calcite with with bright white dendritic-herringbone Silver. Associated with the Silver is some Cobalt arsenide coating the dendrites. Plenty of Silver is also visible on the uncut rock surface and evidence of tectonic faulting event. A very rich premium piece from the Siscoe Mine (Miller Lake O'Brien Mine) Nicol Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada. This mine produced over 36 million oz. of Silver. Dimensions 19x5x2.75 (max thickness) cm A hefty 388 -grams or 14 OZ. Easily over 6 ounces of Silver in this specimen.
