High Grade Silver Ore Nipissing Lorrain Mine, South Lorrain Township Ontario 15 cm CO161
This is a beautiful specimen of very high grade Silver ore. Bright white Silver swirls are set in pink Dolomite. Associated with the Silver is metallic grey Cobalt arsenide. On the non cut side of this vein section Silver is also visible along with purple Erythrite. A very rich piece of ore from the lesser known locality the Nipissing Lorrain Mine, South Lorrain Township, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario Canada. Specimens from this locality are not frequently seen on the market. Dimensions 15x5x4cm (max thickness) A hefty 265 grams.
