Numerous lustrous cobalt blue Celestine crystals with scalenohedral Calcite crystals. The largest Celestine crystal is 2 cm long and has excellent transparency. The matrix is dotted numerous Celestine crystals which are visible in a 360 degree rotation. Some of the crystals rest in voids in the matrix. Overall condition of the specimen is excellent. The specimen sits up nicely for display. A very aesthetic cabinet piece from the new locality the Laman celestine deposit, Qala e Naw District, Badghis, Afghanistan. Dimensions 6x4x4cm 84 grams.
