Lustrous cobalt blue Celestine crystals with scalenohedral Calcite crystals. The largest Celestine crystal is 1.25 cm long and has excellent transparency. The matrix is dotted numerous Celestine crystals ranging in size from 1-5mm long. Some of crystals rest in voids in the matrix. Overall condition of the specimen is excellent. A very aesthetic piece from the new locality the Laman celestine deposit, Qala e Naw District, Badghis, Afghanistan. Dimensions 6x4x3cm 45 grams.
