Lustrous Grossular Garnets and Diopside KPK, Mohmand District Pakistan 6.75cm PK51
Numerous Red and Orange Grossular Garnets var. Hessonite with Diopside crystals on matrix. The garnets have very high luster and good transparency. A great sparkle when rotated in light. Crystals range in size from 2mm to 50mm. The colours are red orange to pale orange for the smaller crystals. Some of the faces feature nice striations. The Diopside crystals a are a translucent pale green, They range in size from 2mm to 50mm. Please check out the video as the pictures do not do complete justice to the piece.
