This is a spectacular saw cut (not polished, it speaks for itself) vein section of grey Calcite with tons of bright white native Silver. A large complex spider web of Silver veins which shower down into dendritic metals make it showy piece. The dendrites are cored with Silver and surrounded with grey Cobalt minerals (most likely Skutterudite and Safflorite) . The pinkish-purple patches on the rind are the weathering of the Cobalt minerals into the mineral Erythrite. .From the Hargrave Silver Mine Cobalt, Ontario Dimensions 11.5x7.5x1 cm and is a hefty 220 grams.
