Lustrous Transparent Green & Pink Tourmaline Crystals on Albite Paprok Afghanistan 6cm AFG43
Numerous lustrous transparent green and pink Tourmaline crystals some with with a pink core (var. Elbaite) referred to as watermelon rest on a pearly white Albite Feldspar. The Tourmaline crystals range up to 1cm in length. The main display is completely covered in Tourmaline crystals. The reverse side also has good coverage of smaller very transparent Tourmaline. There a section on one side of purely pink Touramline crystals. In excellent condition this specimen is from the famous Tourmaline locality Paprok, Kamdesh District, Nuristan, Afghanistan.
