A dark cinnamon brown Andradite garnet rests on a bed of translucent olive green Epidote crystals. The garnet has good sharp edges and is 0.5cm wide. A very aesthetic miniature specimen from Marki Khel, Spin Ghar range, Sherzad District, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Very few specimens are now available on the market from this locality. Dimensions 3.75x3x2cm 16.5 grams.
