The Cobalt area is well known for Silver however many other (perhaps under appreciated) mineral species can be found. This is saw cut vein section of Dolomite and Calcite. In the Dolomite are the minerals Nickeline (bronze) and Rammelsbergite (grey). In this case they are hosted together in a swirling pattern. The white Dolomite provides a nice contrast. Some pale green Annabergite is visible on both sides. From the Cobalt Lake Mine Coleman Township, Timiskaming District near Cobalt Ontario. Dimensions 10x9x1 cm 306 grams.
