Lustrous bubble pink and green Tourmaline crystals (var. Elbaite) referred to as watermelon rest on pearly white Albite Feldspar. White blades of Albite var. Cleavelandite provide a nice contrast. The largest three complete crystals are 2.5, 1.5 and 1cm respectively. Scattered about the matrix are numerous other smaller pink-green Tourmaline crystals. Condition is good overall. Two Tourmalines are damaged and not complete. From the famous Tourmaline locality Paprok, Kamdesh District, Nuristan, Afghanistan. Dimensions 7.5x5x4.75cm 116.5 grams.
