High Grade Silver in Nickel & Cobalt mineralization 2 pieces Gould Mine Cobalt area 7.5cm CO117
Very rich bright white Silver and metallic grey Rammelsbergite set in a brecciated Dolomite vein. This is a sawn vein section cut in half. On one half veins of Silver in a lightning pattern flow into a central area. In the other half Silver streaks through the grey Rammelsbergite and Cobalt arsenide. The green patches on the exterior or non-cut sections are the weathering of the Rammelsbergite into the mineral Annabergite. Also present are a few tiny pink patches of Erythrite indicating a small amount of Cobalt. A very high-grade specimen with a beautiful pattern. From a hard-to-find locality the not commonly on the market the Gould Mine Coleman Township, Timiskaming District near Cobalt, Ontario. Dimensions are 7.5x6x1cm 129 grams and 7.7x5x1.25 92.7 grams.
