Water clear Gypsum Var. Selenite crystals sit in a Dolostone matrix. There are two voids filled with Selenite 4cm and 3cm respectively. Underneath the larger Selenite Dolomite crystals are visible giving a window effect. Scattered about the matrix pearly white Dolomite crystals provide a nice contrast. Very good condition overall with some cleavage. The back side is saw cut for easy display. From the Spring Creek Quarry, Clinton Township, Ontario Canada. Dimensions 11x7x5cm 406.4 grams.
