Lustrous Purple Phantom Fluorite on Muscovite Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan China 4cm CH50
Translucent purple lustrous cubes of Fluorite up to 1cm wide set on a bed of silvery-beige Muscovite mica. The Fluorite is a grape jelly colour and is transparent enough view the mica underneath it. The Fluorite has electric blue fluorescence under long wave UV light. Several 1cm long wedge shaped Arsenopyrite crystals are also scattered about the mica. The specimen sits up perfectly for display. Very good overall condition. A very good quality example from the Yaogangxian Mine, Yaogangxian W-Sn ore field, Yizhang Co., Chenzhou, Hunan, China Dimensions 4x4x4 cm 44.5 grams.
