Translucent Purple-Blue Phantom Fluorite Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan China 6cm CH47
An interlocking group of translucent purple phantom Fluorite cubes. The largest cube is 2cm on edge. The Fluorite features excellent translucency and luster. Towards the centre of the cubes a darker purple bloom helps to highlight the grouping. Associated with Fluorite are a few clusters of stacked white Calcite crystals to give some added contrast. The Fluorite has strong blue fluorescence under long wave UV light and the calcite bright pink. The overall condition of the specimen is excellent with clean sharp edges. The multiple phantoms pop under the UV light as well. On back side is an attachment point.
