A unique miniature specimen of lilac purple Fluorapatite crystals. The crystals are a hollow cast of a former mineral now dissolved known as epimorph. The triangular voids are seen where the former mineral was present. The question remains what was the former mineral. The Fluorapatite has nice bright orange fluorescence under long wave UV light. A very interesting piece in excellent condition from the Mawi Pegmatite Nuristan Afghanistan.
