Lustrous Fluorite, Pyrite & Quartz 2 piece set, Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan China 4cm CH46
Two complex Fluorite miniature specimens. Piece 1 features a 1cm laddered purple Fluorite crystal perched in Chlorite included and coated Quartz crystals. The largest Quartz is 1.25cm. The specimen also has a numerous micro Pyrite cubes coating the surface. Piece 2 is a grouping of clear translucent Fluorite crystals coated in shinny Pyrite. The Fluorite-Pyrite is perched on Dolomite and Quartz. The Fluorite in both specimens fluoresces vivid blue when exposed to long wave UV light. From the Yaogangxian Mine, Yaogangxian W-Sn ore field, Yizhang Co., Chenzhou, Hunan, China. Dimensions #1 4.x2x2 cm 11.7 grams #2 4.25x2.5x2cm 16.7 grams.
