A lustrous rare Tessin habit Smokey Quartz crystal dotted with pale orange Spessartine Garnets. The Quartz has a complex single termination and one elongated face. Dotting the faces are Spessartine Garnets ranging in size from micros to 2mm. Towards the tip of the Quartz is globular patch of Hyalite opal (Opal-An) The Opal fluoresces a bright green under long wave UV light. This smoky has an interesting morphology exhibiting growth parallel striations to the long axis and stepped cathedral faces. The crystal has very good translucency. Overall condition is very good.
