Gemmy Red Spessartine Garnets & Smoky Quartz Wushan Mine, Tongbei, China 6cm CH35
An aesthetic specimen of red-orange Spessartine Garnets on a field of tan colored Microcline feldspar crystals. The garnets range in size from 1-3mm have the classic rhombic dodecahedron shape. Some have striated faces and feature good luster. The Microcline crystals range in size from 2-5mm. There is a 1cm Smoky Quartz crystal near the edge of the display face which is included with Garnet crystals. The back side has been trimmed. Overall condition is excellent. From the Wushan Spessartine Mine, Tongbei, Yunxiao Co., Zhangzhou, Fujian, China. Dimensions 6x3.75x1.5cm 30 grams.
