A beautiful miniature specimen of translucent Orange Spessartine Garnets on a Microcline Smoky Quartz matrix. The garnets ranging in size from 2-4mm have the classic rhombic dodecahedron shape. They have striated faces and excellent luster. The colour reminiscent of an orange lifesaver candy. In very good condition with a few contacted crystals at the periphery. From the Wushan Spessartine Mine, Tongbei, Yunxiao Co., Zhangzhou, Fujian, China. Dimensions 3x3x1cm 28.2 grams.
