A lustrous pale green singly terminated Diopside crystal featuring striated faces. Unlike the dark green Diopsides from Badakshan these pale green crystals have a very elongated pointed termination. The crystal has good luster and some areas of transparency. When exposed to long wave UV light the Diopside fluoresces a pale orange. Very good overall condition. A limited find from Kuran wa Munjan District, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. Dimensions 7x5x4cm 140 grams.
