Pale yellow Fluorapatite crystals perched on a bed of Albite translucent crystals. The largest Fluorapatite crystal has very good luster and is 1.5cm. The Albite matrix is comprised of numerous 2mm-1cm striated Albite crystals. They are very lustrous and have good transparency. A smattering of micro red Garnets adds some contrast. The Fluorapatite has vivid yellow fluorescence under long wave UV light. A very aesthetic miniature specimen from the Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Dimensions 3.5x2.5x2cm 12 grams.
