High grade Silver in Calcite-sawn vein section of 2 pieces, Hargrave Mine, Coleman Twsp 8cm CO93
Beautiful high grade Silver associated with Cobalt arsenide. This is a wedge shaped Calcite vein section sawn in half to expose the high grade silver. The bright white Silver fills fissures in the Calcite and runs through botryoids of Cobalt minerals Plenty of visible Silver poking out in the uncut faces. The purple-red patches on the exterior or non cut sections are the weathering of the Cobalt minerals into the mineral Erythrite. From the Hargrave Mine Cobalt, Coleman Township, Timiskaming District near Cobalt Ontario. Dimensions 8x4x2.5cm 126.5 grams and 7x4x2.5cm 119.4 grams.
