Blue Purple Fluorite crystals with Ferberite and Quartz. Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan China, 5cm CH16
Interlocking lustrous Fluorite cubes (up to 1cm) on a matrix of Chlorite included Quartz and Ferberite. Depending on light source and angle the Fluorite can be seen as pale blue to purple. The Fluorite is very transparent as the matrix beneath it is easily visible. The opposite side features numerous crystals of Ferberite ranging in size from 1mm to 5mm. A small of amount of Pyrite is also present. The Fluorite has electric blue fluorescence under long wave UV. Very good condition overall with some edge wear.
