A Lilac purple Fluorapatite grouping of three crystals set in a void in Albite Feldspar with a pale smoky Quartz crystal. The crystals are short to tabular prisms. On of which features an interesting cog wheel shaped edge. The crystals have good translucency and luster. Crystals range in size from .75 to 1cm. Beside the Fluorapatite is some silvery white Muscovite. The Fluorapatite has very strong yellow fluorescence under long wave UV. Excellent overall condition. A beautiful aesthetic miniature specimen from the Mawi pegmatite, Nilaw-Kolum pegmatite field, Nuristan, Afghanistan. Overall dimensions 5x3x3cm 38 grams.
