Superb High grade arborescent Silver in Dolomite, Savage Mine Mine Cobalt Ontario area 8cm CO89
This a saw cut vein section of arborescent Silver. Arborescent refers to the tree like pattern in the Silver. Smaller veinlets of Silver also run through the white Dolomite. Associated with the Silver are the Nickel minerals Rammelsbergite (steel grey), Nickeline (Bronze grains) and some pinkish bronze Breithauptite which surround the outside edges of some of the Silver. The opposite side is an uncut face (end cut) A very choice high grade example from Savage Mine, Coleman Township, Timiskaming District near Cobalt Ontario.
