Lustrous transparent Fluorite cubes on Limestone . The interlocking cubes of Fluorite have stepped growth faces.. The colour of the cubes depending on light angle can range from a pale to dark Indigo blue tone. The crystals of Fluorite range up to 1.75cm size on edge. The blue Fluorite has an exterior layer of a second generation of purple Fluorite crystals . The Fluorite has strong bright blue fluorescence under long wave UV light. . A small amount of Pyrite is also present The bottom of the Limestone matrix has been trimmed so the specimen sits nicely for display.
