This is an absolute top shelf specimen of very high grade herringbone pattern Silver in Calcite. The bright white Silver herringbones are coated in the shiny grey Cobalt mineral Safflorite. The saw cut face exposes a large spray of herringbones while on the uncut side plenty of Silver can seen pocking out. Specimens of this quality are uncommon. This wedge shaped piece is a hefty 263 grams or 9.285 ounces. Dimensions 9.5x6.2.5x2cm. From the Siscoe Mine (Miller Lake O'Brien Mine) Nicol Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada.
