Nice green gemmy Tourmaline var. Elbaite set in cathedral quartz crystals. The Tourmaline ranges in size from 2mm to 1.5cm. The colour ranges from a pale green to a darker grass green and shows nice colour banding. The Quartz crystal are parallel stacks known as cathedral as they are reminiscent of a church cathedral. Some Felspar is also present on the Quartz. In good condition overall. The quartz crystals have an attachment point and some bruising. The Tourmaline in some cases have a hollow core when viewed under magnification. From an unusual location Chhappu in the Braldu Valley, Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
