This is a beautiful specimen of native Silver leaf. The hackly textured Silver presents nicely on both sides of the specimen . The thick Silver leaf is coated with a layer of mineral Acanthite which has a shinny grey luster. A very good example from the lesser known locality the Nipissing Lorrain Mine, South Lorrain Township, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario Canada. Specimens from this locality are not frequently seen on the market. Dimensions 4.25x3cm. Averages 2.5mm thick.
