A well formed good sized Titanite crystal. The classic wedge shaped crystal is a dark brown with good luster. The edges are sharp with some chipping. Dimensions 3.25x3x1.5cm 17 grams. From the historic locality Turner's Island Mine, Sebastopol Township, Bonnechere Valley, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Fluorapatite was first mined on Turners island, Lake Clear, Sebastopol township, in 1879, and up to the year 1882. Collected in the 1980's by B& R Plavac.
