A nice example Silver in Calcite. The bright white Silver is visible in veins in the Calcite and in fine angular patches. Along with the Silver shiny grey Cobalt -iron arsenide occurs in the Calcite. Silver is also visible on the exterior uncut sides. This is a saw cut vein section of Calcite cutting Diabase (2 pieces) featuring two cut faces. From the lesser known locality the Millerett Mine Haultain Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada. This mine had very rich veins but production only lasted from 1909 until 1912 as the ore ran out. Specimens are not frequently seen on the market.
