This is a very nice example of very high grade Silver ore with an arborescent pattern in Calcite. The bright white Silver dendrites are coated in shiny grey Cobalt-iron Arsenide. Of geologic interest is the re-mobilization of Silver into the volcanic host rock. Visible particularly on one face seen as a bright white patch of Silver bleeding out of the arborescent pattern. This is a saw cut piece. Dimensions 7.75x7x1cm (max thickness) 86 grams. From the Siscoe Mine (Miller Lake O'Brien Mine) Nicol Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada. This mine produced over 36 million oz. of Silver. Specimen video click Arborescent Silver, Siscoe Mine Nicol Twp, Gowganda Ontario 7.75cm #preciousmetals #silver #stacker
