This is a beautiful specimen of very high grade herringbone - arborescent Silver in Calcite. The Silver herringbones and arborescent patterns are coated with botryoids of shiny grey Cobalt-Iron arsenide. The Calcite has been etched away to expose the intricate Silver crystals. A Silver leaf covers part of the top of the specimen. A very good example from the Siscoe Mine (Miller Lake O'Brien Mine) Nicol Township Township, Gowganda area Ontario Canada.
