High Grade Silver Ore Canadian Lorrain Mine, South Lorrain Township Ontario 7cm CO258
This is an interesting specimen of Silver ore. Bright white Silver and metallic grey Cobalt and Iron arsenide are set in a highly brecciated vein section. The Silver and Cobalt minerals seems have cemented the breccia together. On the non cut side of this vein section Silver is also visible along with micro Arsenopyrite crystals pink Erythrite. From the lesser known locality the Canadian Lorrain (Maidens Bay) Mine, South Lorrain Township, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario Canada. Specimens from this locality are not frequently seen on the market.
