A nice large cluster of translucent green Tremolite crystals up to 1cm in size. The Tremolite was once hosted in Calcite but the Calcite has been etched away naturally. Some the crystals are quite translucent with good luster. The piece does have some cleavage areas but otherwise in good condition. It is rarer to find amphiboles in blocky prisms as displayed in this specimen. A good example from the now closed to collecting locality Burleigh Rd. (also known as the Grace Lake Rd cut) Dudley Township near Wilberforce Ontario Canada. Dimensions 6x4.5x4cm 107.5 grams.
