Rare Beryl Var. Goshenite with Albite & Muscovite Shigar Valley Pakistan 5.5cm PK78
Beryl var. Goshenite on pearly white Albite Feldspar with Muscovite Mica. This example features three Goshenite crystals. Goshenite is a clear to colourless more rare variety of the mineral Beryl. The largest Beryl crystal is 3cm long and has a nice clear top. It stands out from the Albite very nicely for display. A second 2.25cm sits above the larger Beryl. A third beryl is 1.5cm long. The Albite has a strong pearly white luster. The name for the variety is derived from where it was originally described, Goshen Massachusetts.
