A nice large grouping of pale green apple colour Diopside. A 7cm long large central crystal is by numerous other Diopsides. The crystals have in places a coating of pale green clay mineral or talc. This is commonly seen on Diopsides from the Grenville geological region. Some cleaves but otherwise in good condition . From Burleigh Rd. (also known as the Grace Lake Rd cut) Dudley Township near Wilberforce Ontario Canada. Collecting is now not allowed at this locality. I found a pocket of these crystals with only Diopside once.
