An aesthetic example of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite. The bladed dark blue crystals of Azurite are partially replaced by vivid green Malachite. The Malachite has nice velvety texture (chatoyant) or appearance. The largest pseudomorph area measures 2cm across. The specimens were found in the mine circa 2012. The area of the mine that produced these specimens no longer exists so pieces are now hard to come by. A unique colourful piece from the Milpillas Mine, Milpillas, Santa Cruz Municipality, Sonora, Mexico Dimensions 6x2x2.5cm 30.6 grams.
