Lustrous Aquamarine on Albite with Quartz crystals. The largest Aquamarine crystal is 2.75cm long it rests over top a smaller .5cm long Aquamarine. The Aquas have very good transparency and a nice pale blue colour. Scattered about the matrix are several 1cm (ave. length) Quartz crystals. The matrix consists of blocky white Albite Feldspar crystals. Some micro sized Garnet and Tourmaline var. Schorl crystals are also on the matrix. Please check the video for the 3D nature of the specimen. Overall condition of the specimen is very good. The piece sits up nicely for display. A very aesthetic example from the Dara-e-Pech pegmatite field, Dara-e-Pech District, Kunar, Afghanistan. A less common origin than their Pakistani cousins. Dimensions 6x4x4cm 96.7 grams.
