Pale yellow flat tabular Fluorapatite crystals in an interlocking layered grouping. They have good luster and are transparent in areas. The Fluorapatite grouping of crystals is 2.75cm long with crystals up to 1cm wide. The Fluorapatite is very fluorescent under long wave UV light. It glows a vivid yellow-orange colour. This appears to be a floater with no attachment point. A very nice miniature specimen from the Shigar Valley Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
